I would pack my duffel bag with all the food and water i could(not forgetting to grab a kitchen knife, which is the best my house has to offer as means of a weapon) then take my family down to the boathouse and Canoe across the river, where we wouldn't be far from my grand mother's house, which is in a very rural part of a fairly backwater county, and is easily defended, since there is a second floor.
