The Zombie Survival Guide is a book detailing different survival methods during the zombie apocalypse, written in a pseudo-comedic fashion. The writer, Max Brooks, does have some opinions that people don't agree with, but it wasn't written as an actual guidebook. it was written to entertain.
I have read it several times, because i simply enjoy reading it.
If you haven't already, you should defiantly check it out.
here is a pic of the book.
I just bought Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, they're on my list; after summer reading, but before The Survivors Club.
This is my bible...best read ever
i can never find it
Great book, I've read 2 times. Got to make sure im on top of that shit.
i got it and i have notes and pages marked on tope of that i have world war z they might have been written for fun BUT they DO make good points
i really want to read it
well its got great points
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book, like Vixie said, it has GREAT points. i need to get world war z....cant believe i dont have it yet -_-
Definitely worth reading. I don't care what Justin says, Max Brooks is a great author and the zombie survival guide, World War Z and The zombie Survival guide: Recorded attacks are all excellent reading and I highly recommend them. Also, if you like audio books, the WWZ audio book is very good, and is narrated by Max brooks and features voice acting by Alan Alda, Mark Hammill and several others.
i watched a thing the othernight called Zombiemania and it had him and george a. romero in it plus a bunch of others including the most used actor in zombie films it was great it talked about were the idea of zombies started and how it has evolved and everything and it was just great :) if you can you get to see it
Love the book. While it may be written to entertain, it definitely draws you in. World War Z even more so. It has valid points and if a zombie apocalypse would really happen, I'd definitely take some pointers from it.
We should make our own zombie survival guide...
I'm about halfway through the ZSG. I feel so unprepared now!!! :o

World War Z is my personal favorite, all those perspectives that he spoke from seemed so real, it is one of my favorite reads of all time
