when the zombie apocalypse begins there will not be that many zombies for at least a week. thats when i spring my plan into action
PHASE ONE- CLOTHING- WEAPONS- VEHICLE
Clothing- carharts, nike shox (faster), turtle neck under leather jacket, hockey mask, 5 changes of clothes
Weapons-Winchester super X2,Colt .45ACP,baseball bat with removal strap i made( giving me the ability to wear it like a guitar) and my survival knife ( 7 inch blade)
Vehicle- dads old U-haul truck.
PHASE TWO: LOCATION- FOOD- SUPPLYS
Location- jail because i know a code to open the gates (uncle works there), has cells, generators, watch tower and kitchen.
Food- ALL food from my house because even though foods like eggs and apples will perish much faster then canned food doesnt meen i can eat those foods the first few months then canned, right?
Supplys that i can get from my house- 3 cans of gasoline, toolbox, spare tire, gardening tools, ammunition, 12 buckets of water, seeds (ranging from pumpkin all the way to corn),brand new lazy boy, spray paint, lighters, deo, soap, fertilizers, first aid kit, flares, binoculars,ect.
PHASE 3- load up truck and get to the jail wich is only a 10 minute drive. i will keep all weapons in the truck for now (except my pistol will be in the back of my carharts) and enter the jail i will tell the police men to turn on the news and tell them to go be with there family and prepare (policemen around here arent tough)now i snatch the skeleton key. then i go into the cell holding room (7 cells) and the criminals that i am letting them out one by one and if they try anything stupid i will shoot them (pulls out pistol). now that all cops and criminals are out of the jail i will unload the u-haul supplys into a cell and lock it up.
PHASE FOUR- MORE SUPPLYS. i will need more supplys such

ciggeretes
chewing tobacco (for me, im hopelessly addicted)
a few guns and some more ammo if possible
knives
clothes (ranging from baby sizes to XXL)
condoms
candy
jewlry
more tools

dvds and cds

notbooks

the only 4 plaeces i need to go to are the liqour store, gun store, walmart and the grozery store wich are all pretty close. the places probly wont be fortified but if anyone tries to stop me they will have a bullet in their head. i will take all the alcohol and tobacoo from the shelves, all food i can grab, and buckets for water.
now i get back to the jail and separate the goods in the cells. then i will fill up the buckets with water and take a nice warm shower before the power if cut off.
i will then go to the yard and start to plant my seeds (for me, not for sell)
next step is to spray paint in bold letters HAS GOODS TO TRADE WITH OTHER SURVIVORS
when i get a customer i will open the gate and let them park in the yard i will tell them (through bull horn, i will be on the watch tower)to leave all there weapons by there car and walk 20 feet ahead of them. then i will search them just to make sure. i will show them a list of supplys i will trade with them. once they pick what they want i will ask them what they want to trade for it. if i do get a customer with alot of goods with them i may shoot them in the head and add there supplys to my shope and dump teh body a few blocks down.

all customers at Apocalypse Rambos zombie pawn shop will be ripped off majorly.
if they want a pack of lights it will cost them a car, or gun, or 50 rounds of ammo, 3 changes of clothes,ect.
i will also be taking notes of the amount of zombies that pass by daily to see if the amount is on the rise or decreasing. if zombies zome how do break in i will stay in the watch tower and shoot down. but if im in the jail like the weight room or somthing i will lock my self in a cell and shoot out of it (i will keep teh skeleton on me at ALL times) if i do get a customer i know such as a friend or relative i may let them in a cell for a while depending on how much i trust them. well thats my zombie plan, please vote and comment
Letting people into your base is a bad idea. Something goes wrong and you're screwed.
If you really want to have a pawn shop, make it mobile, like, on the back of a pickup or something.
capn- well id only let them into the parking lot and give them a list of what they can choose from and what it will cost them.
DR- trust me, my town is full of retarted people no one would think of this/ half the people would get on quads with guns and have a race to see who can kill more
Well, obviously they're "retarded" if you think that they are and can't even spell it.
And my dad works with people with learning difficulties. So I find that word rather offensive.
You need knifes
and Not killing someone does Not make you weak
i said i have a survival knife. im looking at it right now as a matter of fact. and yes you need a knife for survival but not as a weapon.
you could keep them locked in and shot off water to their cells. death within 3-7 days, and if still alive keep the cell locked until they run out of bottled water/ fluids.
this plan is still unachievable because the gov issued instructions to the guards and they would not let you do this/ they are already implementing the idea.
Shoes need to be hiking. They are made to be in wet, muddy damp conditions for days wile Nike shocks are made for dry/ court conditions. Will be gone within a month if in wilderness conditions.
Need more than one person. encase ganes of 1+ comes with better tactics/ when you’re sleeping. Unless watch tower has 5-8 inches of steel/ bullet proof glass when they drive in and you go to watch tower/ search a person, someone outside of your fence will take you out with a sniper round.
This plan is good in theory but need more people like 30, 20 for day 10 for night watch.
Better place would be a distribution hub for wall mart/ basspro or cabala’s all the diesel trucks and fuel with lots of highly sought items from guns to ammo, fresh water kits to tents. Empty trucks and trailers of all useful parts gas oil engines, tires batteries ex, then tip on sides for perimeter walls and gates. Then you set up shop
i dont mind criticising on my plan i meen, isnt learning your mistakes a good thing? and i live in a small hick town where the rules are loose. the guards would deffinatly go protecet their own instead of protecting inmates. yes i never considered hiking boots but i will deffinatly get them now. and would zombies even be able to get to me is i was sleeping? i meen in the movies they only try to get into a place if they can see somone but if i hide up in the guard tower idk if they get me, let alone not get tangled up in barbwire

Shoes won't make you run much faster, they'll make a difference, but you shouldn't rest your life upon it.
I imagine that the moment you open up the gates to the prison, you'll be figurative swiss cheese.
You're going to release several (potentially dangerous) convicted criminals, then expect to be able to shoot them?
What if one behind you makes a move, you're dead and you couldn't have stopped it, (or if they're too fast).
Whilst I do believe that most people will do everything they can to survive, I don't think that many people are actually capable of murder.
The Liquor Store, Walmart, the Grocer's and the Gun Shop will be the first place on most people's mind. If they're not over-run by zombies, they'll be swarmed with people, and the owners are hardly going to let you take everything when it's their livelihood, and potentially their supplies in this event.
What if you run out of ammo? What if you run out of food? How do you plan on getting water? (what you've detailed in the plan won't last forever)
And again on the "I doubt if you could kill someone", especially when you have no reason to:
Humanity > You.
Humanity > Me.
So try to be fair.
And don't get agressive at me, I do this to everyone's plan. Stay calm and put together a reasonable response, and I'll try to be nice.

its not a prison, jail. so there just low life criminals, not rapists or murderers

i do not want to murder somone, but i am not a wuss. i was htat one kid in school who was a beast on the feild and tough as nails but there was always that jack ass that thought it would be funny to make fun of him, ya he ended up with a broken nose and 2 black eyes. i could kill somone but i would warn them first.
people in my town wouldnt think of fortifieng a store, theyd go to their houses, TRUST ME. i do have alot of ammo and dont plan to randomly shoot zombies that are not threatning me.

I realise that you weren't being agressive, people just tend to not like me criticising their plan too much.
And it's not a case of fortefying a store, it's just that they would likely raid everything they could at the begining.
Like the other commenters said, it's unlikely that the guards would abandon their posts; they're likely to know about it before you (What are the chances of the goverment being honest with you?)
I just prefer a plan where you take a lot of people to somewhere abandoned, then build from there. I don't like anywhere inhabited, because other people may have had the same idea and been quicker than you. What if someone else is there?
