sweet zombie poem

mike's picture

The masses swaying in the distance,
Their jaws snapped shut to my words,
They show hollywood no resistance,
Their moaning is absurd.

Their screaming and a bleeding,
Their clawing and a scratching,
begging for more more more...

These masses will never break my resistance,
Begging for this existance,
This is my sweet persistance.

I'll stand on my hill,
Alone in my piece of mind,
They'll move in for the kill,
I know this is all too real.

This existance they hope to find,
I am but one pillar in this world
But I promise you there will be

I am far from perfect, but this persistance,
My sweet resistance.

Stand with me in this alone existance,
We'll be the crumbled pillars to hold up our door ways,
We will last against this masses and their poor ways.

I take piece of mind,
and sweet peace,
As they close in,
As they try to devour our kind.
