RANDOM BUT SMART IDEAS PART 1:
SO WHAT IF YOU WERE ATTACKED TODAY? what if you were attacked right now...exactly ware you are. With what your wearing, doing and who your with? sure we can all raid a store, fill a truck up with supplies and guns and go hunker down some ware. But seriously... if the out break was barley starting to happen and you KNEW what it was! that it wasn’t a government cover up or some weird disease. If you knew it was a zombie infection and that you only had so much time to prepare yourself what would you do? you couldn’t really just bust into a store and steal everything insight? the law would still be there...things wouldn’t be bad enough yet. People would still be civilized right... well whatever... just things to consider ya know.
my plan..if it happen right now... is I would get my ass on the road..pick up my girlfriend and those I love who I can afford to help who are within driving distance. Then I would try as hard as I could to explain to them that im not crazy and that the out break is real and life threatening. then after everyone is on the same page we will look at the supplies we have at hand...see what we got, I personally don’t have any guns yet but I know my neighbor has a AK an oozy and a 9. so maybe I would either wanna buddy up with him for now or try to jack his ass! (survival of the fittess lol). between me and the group will gather what weapons, food and water we will have. Then before things really did spread... I honestly would try to steal as much supplies I can from local stores... perhaps big5 or a similar store and a local grocery store. (yes I currently own a truck so hauling allot of supplies shouldn’t be a problem) I suggest you steal one if you don't have own. I would use money on things like gasoline (not as easy to steal). I would scout out a sturdy building perhaps with multiple floors. I don’t know about ware you live but ware I live I already know a couple places that would be perfect and are already gated with a restaurant inside and near gun shop and grocery stores, also next door to mall ;). so I would stay put in the whoever’s house is ideal at the time... to a quick reinforcement to the house such as boarding up windows, reinforcing fence etc. while were staying there we can then go over plans and ware our next location will be...also everyday we will be stocking up on supplies. fill up all the sinks and bath tubs up with water. If things began to get worse we will start looting as much as we can....weapons...bullets...weapons that don’t need reloading... steal everything we think would help.
THINGS I WOULD STOCK UP ON:
1.FOOD: NON PERISHABLE, SEEDS, SUGAR, ETC.
2.WATER: LOTS OF WATER, MUST ALSO FIND SAFE WATER SUPPLY. (boil water)
3.WEAPONS: LOTS OF WEAPONS! LOTS OF AMMO. Also weapons that don’t need reloading, such as sword, axe, bat etc.
4.TOOLS: CROWBAR, HAMMER, NAILS, DUCK TAPE, UTILITY KNIFE, WELDING, SAW, BUILDING MATERIALS
5.CAMPING EQUPITMENT: TENTS ETC. INCASE YOU WUOLD NEED TO LEAVE YOUR SHELTER IT WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE CAMPING EQUPMENT IN HAND.
6.FIRSTAID KIT: MAKE SURE THIS INCLUDES NEEDLE AND THREAD. (make sure you know the medical conditions of your survivor group at all times)
7. RADIO/FLASH LIGHT: PERHAPS ONE OF THOSE EMERGENCY ONE THAT DONT NEED BATTERIES.
8. GENERATOR: GASOLINE POWER BUT A GOOD ONE WOULD BE ONE THAT COULD BE POWERED BY BICYCLE.
9.LIGHTERS: ANYTHING THAT CAN MAKE FIRE..A FLINT, ANYTHING
10. ANYONE KNOW WARE YOU CAN GET A SHARK SUIT??
A good strong vehicle to get around in or incase you need to relocate. that was just a list of things off the top of my head. Allot of things to stock up on are pretty much common sense. try to work as a team to get things built and have a way even if its just a sign on top of a roof (SOS). think helicopter...I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t pick a shelter that didn’t have a place for a rescue helicopter to land :/ . I would also use the generator just until I find a way to steal me some solar panels and put them to good use. I would make a garden with veggies, fruits etc.
NOTE: if you get bit.... cut off that limb ASAP. probably your only chance of not getting infected. other wise better be ready to do a suicide mission in benefit for the group.
SHELTER: after you pick your shelter enforce EVERYTHING...windows doors....air vents etc. I wouldn’t even make the front door your way of entry. barricade that and make another point of entry (perhaps the roof) nothing at ground level. have another way out...and if you got the time and effort to do so... I would have an emergency escape which would be in a fall back room... perhaps a tunnel hand dug to get you out of your shelter in case your over ran.
an idea I had was sewers... I would assume you would have little to no zombies in sewers. plus you can navigate through the sewers to any ware in the city practically. think: instead of walking on ground to the gun shop...what if you went underground and came out ware the shop was?? didn’t we learn anything from ninja turtles!? come on! there are many ways to survive and many different ideas of shelters; like an island. An island can be controlled, but you have to remember...there are prob less supplies... you could try to kill every zombie on island then try to maintain island...but gas, bullets would run out and be hard to come by...and you better have a bad as boat just in case you are overtaken. and who would find you if you are on an island in the middle of no ware? but yes...the island is a good idea... which i would talk about in part 2.
