The Discworld Saga!
Surely the most geeky you can get without having a computer!
Needless to say, I have almost every book, and most of my book shelf is taken up with them.
And I've met Terry Pratchett twice, and I managed to get him to sign my copy of Going Postal when it came out, and I've got books that my Nan has signed by him, and I've been reading them under my covers since I was like, 3.

/geekout.

Please tell me that some other survivors have impeccable taste in literature.

I've heard good things, so I added them to my list once I finish the current series I am reading. Are they truly as cool as people say?

Well, the books shoot to number 1 on the best sellers as soon as they're released. Massive following, 37 books (with at least 2 more to be released) and Terry has been diagnosed with a rare form of Dementia, so I imagine some of them will become rather collectible soon.

I would heartily recomend them to anyone.

If you're going to start a sentence in German, finish it in german.
Just my German teacher used to get upset if we multi-languaged. Like "Ich Bin das... thirsty?" NO! SPRECHEN ZE DEUTSCH

I know what you mean, ours did too. But I have not remembered my German. I took three years of it, the forgot it in the 3 years following my last class. I've been thinking of taking it again, rekindling my knowledge, but I need to get my gen eds and major requirements out of the way first.

We took german from years 8-10. The other half of the year did it 7-10, but did french for less. So I can jibber at you in poor french or poor german. I dropped both as early as I could (I rather liked German, but my brother had some trouble wit it at GCSE).
I remembered very basic German. Der, Die, Das etc. And my brother had a penpal, and the only way to describe my town was "Toddlangweilig"- Deadly Boring. And I've never forgotten that.

Nice. I should take other languages now, because they will help me in the job market with my major.
So, where exactly are you located?

Somerset, South-West england.
I was thinking of taking German just for the employment side of it. But Geography DID have one of my favourite teachers, I really wanted to do History, and ICT was a definate. But my Geography teacher left (then died), his replacement left, and we got a new teacher that I argued with constantly. I think I threatened to stab him several times over the course of my last year.
And if I hadn't taken Geography, the only good options in that block were Drama and French. And I detest the french, and I thought I would prefer Geography to drama. Big mistake, geography was an absolute sausage fest and drama had 2 girls for every boy. =(
PervyRacoon is Pervy.

I did. but my teacher only let me answer with the bare minimum and wouldn't let me elaborate on that.
Also, I've now dropped it. I'm in my Summer term between School and Sixth Form. Where I will be taking (results dependant) Sociology (quite useful from a ZombPocalypse standpoint), History (generally useful, fun, good subject), Physics (because physics is my B****) and English Literature (because... it was in the option block? And I'm slowly trying to write my own book and failing? Because I was drunk? I don't know).

It's Sexey's Sixth Form, but no-one trusts me enough to google it.
ololololol.
and I've rebuttled on your points on my plan.
