Yep, as the title says, I am back home in Red Lake,ON. I was in Halifax checking off a part of my dreams list. I have been working on a real, true blue Submarine! HOW FREAKING AWSOME IS THAT!? I know, mind blowing. You can google the sub, HMCS Windsor, she is a Victoria Class diesel electric, built in England, which we sadly bought. The boat is a literal piece of junk, being 30 MILLION dollars over budget to repair the many surfacing issues wit her age. I was contacted to be shiped over and do some work in the balast tanks and trim lines (since I have high pressure pipe and plate tickets) It was really cramped, dark and surprising wet (considering she is in dry dock) but nothing I could not handle. Safety was a big issue, being in a confined space with Uber toxic gases, but nothing a breathing apparatus and proper venting nulified. And I will have to scorn the British here, but the welds on the equipment I was replacing was very sloppy, large pits, voids and slag in the Root of many pipe joints. BUT to be fair, the lay out of the piping is very orderly and neat looking ( I am using the piping in the Mine Mill for reference) It was a good job, and I was glad to do it. I stayed on base and did not bring much (just a bag of clothes) so... I am sorry I have neglected all my friends here. In good news, I managed to actually do the 4th highest dream on my list. Which is good. To me. Or so I think any way.

P.S though this is largely unimportant, Jacey has got me hooked on this "Minecraft" thing already and I as wondering if anyone has a server thingy.....or even plays it for that matter. Tootle looo
