how many shots does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a zombie horde?Submitted by FireArm15 on Thu, 09/17/2009 - 21:40 |
okay, so, infection breaks out in the usa, Texas has finally gotten tired of barack obama being president, so there not going to help anyone so what do you do? well, ur not in Texas, so ur chances are slim, but they're chances nontheless.
Okay, so first, you need some edible devices, sandviches, water, etc. so, to find a place, visit ur local restaurants, and take a whole bunch of their canned stuff, cuz nobodys gonna think of a restaruant till later. So u raid their canned supplies while everybody's packed wall-to-wall at Kroger, or some other grocery store. and the water is easy, fill up as many buckets or other containers as u possibly freaking can with tap water (assuming the virus is not in the water, then duh, dont do that) before the water shuts off.
Okie dokie, now that we've covered the food and water part, time to take on the supply challenge. such as gas. this is the easy part, drain the gasoline from the fuel tanks of abandoned cars into large containers. its easy, just punch a hole in it, and let it drain. as for guns, thats a little bit more complicated. it would be more ideal if everyone had a gun(s) to begin with, but unfortunatly thats not the caseso then you'll have to improvise. while you're in those restaurants, pick up some alchoholic beverages and make some molotove cocktails with 'em. its only temporary, but it'll work for the time being. you can also visit the local gun shop, chances are, you'll be outta luck, but hey, its worth a shot.
Now for the part that involves shelter, yay! okay, so, this is really really simple. find a relatively tall building, it doesnt even have to be that tall, like, 2 or more stories, preferably 3 or more. get rid of the staircases and make a rope ladder. if someone needs to go downstairs, then toss down the ladder, or even more importantly, if a survivor makes it to your humble abode, let 'em up.
so after a good 5 minutes of thought, thats what i came up with, its not the best, but hell, better than getting sea-sick.
Do realize some hardcore texans do live in other states, so not everyone is doomed.
its kind of a dumb idea to fill a tub with water, because the water would be disgusting and full of germs, unless you want to take an hour to clean a bath tub while zombies are breaking into your house as we speak....lol
by tub i meant bucket, you cant fill a bathtub with water and carry it around, that would be rediculous. plus, tap water is slightly chlorinated so the germs die.
filling a bath tub is a good idea. They recommend it in almost every disaster survival handbook I have. It wont necessarily taste great, but as long as you clean your tub occasionally, it shouldn't be an issue. Also, in the fire service they taught us how to make a 500 gallon reservoir out of a folded tarp and nothing else, it might be worth looking up, or wait a while and I'll put it up in my food and water thread
