OK please dont rate this or rag on me for the fact that it is horribly short termed, for long term fun check out my long island plan.

So, im sure many of you have seen doomsday the movie. Remember the bus that the crazies had? It was called "the wall" or something like that?
Yeah, Well im going to make myself one of those badass boys.

Jack a Coach Bus from the Grayhound Station by my house
Weld a train's cattle guard to the front
Seal up the luggage area and make it accessable form the inside
Chainlink and barbed wire over the side and back windows (outside)
Steel bars on the inside
Expand the gas tank to hold 350gallons
Emergancy roof escape hatch bigger
Make each door lockable by sliding 2 steel 2"x2" square tubing across
Take out 1/2 the seats
load it up with ammo and hell for shits and giggles why not..."pyro fun toys"
re work the drive system to make it a half track and slap some beasting wheels that can crush a prius (but not any other normal sized car)
get some friends

kill some zombies till tis gone

when all the fun stuff is done and we are stuck we pull a resident evil 3 and blow the whole thing like they did to get into the alice cloning area in south west usa

yeah if you liked this vote, if not try my other plan and see if you like that one better

EDIT:

this is similar to the RV that i use in my real plan but in my real plan instead of a bus its a old badass 97 ford windstar

If this is for the "Short Term", how exactly are you going to re-configure the drive train and make the bus a half-tracked vehicle? that sort of work takes MONTHS.

Other than that, armored buses are a somewhat good idea because once they run out of gas, you can just use them as an outpost.

But not really, because that would be weird.
