We should all create characters and incorporate them into our own novel, from what I've seen with the rpg with some revising and strengthening and direction we have the grounds for a trully great literary achievement. and Im thinking about a series of books not just one.

Well apparentally were going to have to be able to communicate well so you guys let me know what messaging system you use so we can start coordinating. obviously it's going to be a slow process and were going to need a brainstorming session to figure out the direction we want to take the project. I'm serious about this.
personally, I can only talk here while I'm in Tennessee (with my mom & stepdad, I mean)...when I go to my dad's this summer and MAYBE (depending on funds) this spring, I can talk on messenger

Alright, here is what I personally have got. In a nutshell my story begins here in my hometown and my friends are the characters. Using real people makes it easier to flush out the personalities and make them more 3d. Essentially it is a novelization of my zombie plan. So far I know that Mairin and myself are good writers, though stylistically I think I lean more towards gritty realism and Mairin leans more towards beauty and the fantasy elements. She uses more florid language then I do.
I don't know who else really "writes" but if you wanted to do a collaboration, I would suggest taking notes about what you want your story to be like and collaborating between either Mairin or myself depending on the style you wish to pursue. We could produce a series of books much like WWZ by Max Brooks but on a larger scale. I'm thinking a good working title would be "The survivor Chronicles"
I'll post some excerpts once I get off my duff and write them.
Give me a week or so to work on some Ideas, but this is what I think needs to happen, build a world for the characters like in every zombie movie explaining the rules like if blood infects you or just bites? if theres only one type of zombie or many types. (I myself like where were heading with the rpg but if you want to do something more realistic I don't have a problem with it.) second we need to develope character overviews and personalities. third each character needs a separate cause but the group needs a large cause to bring them together. Im thinking we write each book with different characters and we start bringing them together towards the end of the series to something big. anyways I know all I have is a very light overview and it seems pretty childish but give me a week to see where I'm at and let me know what you think.
Sounds fine to me. I was thinking we all right out individual survival situations that occur simultaneously across the timeline, culminating in a final story where we work together to beat back the zombies.
We could probably stretch out the series further so I think that's a good idea.
Alright, I started over from scratch about 30 minutes ago and I have one completed page so far. If I plug away all night I can probably have 10 pages by morning.
I have a lot to do this week but I'll do my best to have some stuff by Friday. It's always hard for me to get started but once I do it's hard to stop writing.
Alright, It's four in the morning and I have three complete pages, single spaced and no shortage of material. I did that and went on an Aid call. Now I have a throbbing headache and I am going to sleep. I AM THE MAN! I'll post something once I get past the character development and start chewing on some actual story.
