i live in cathelamet, WA. (AKA puget island). right on the Columbia River
first thing i would have to do when i hear of Z day is get on it. get my truck, get my 9mm beretta and get into town. stop by the store and grab all of canned foods, garden seeds, batterys, lighters, essentials (deo, soap), knifes, gasoline basiclly anything there.
sencond, stop by my girlfriends and get EVERYTHING from her house. all blankets, food, clothes, more food, gardening tools, her VERY WELL trained dog, dog food, any gasoline she might have, oil, her crank radio and flashlight, her 12 gauge shotgun ( has around 100 rounds), her clothes, deo, soap, razors, leash, rope, machete, toothpaste, mouthwash, and basicly anything savagable.
we go to my house and do the same with all my stuff.

i have machetes
4 baseball bats
an AK-47 with a bayonet! (about 300 rounds) was passed down from my gpa
9mm beretta ( about 50 rounds)
22 rifle (shitload of ammo lol)
girlfriends 12 gauge.
now off of cathelamet is a small island we like to call jap island because it kind of looks like japan. its a great fishing spot with a few small shacks people have made. only about 150 yards from land.
my plan is to make trips to that island with my boat unloading all of our stuff.
risky, yes. worth it, yes.
this will take roughly 3 hours with all of our stuff because the islands close to my house.
if anyone had taken the island already we would politley ask them to leave. is they dont they would be shot and we would take their belongings.
i will bring alot of gas, oil, bug repellant, tools ( for boat), paddles ( just incase), fishing supplys.
the island has alot of wood and brush to be burnt that should last us roughly 6 months becuase of the shacks.
FOOD: we will eat food wisley.
not much a day.
eat perishables first.
plant crops.
canned foods for last
i plan on eating fish mostley. fish will be spawning alot more.
and maybe birds if we get desperate haha.
i will also use rain catchers out of tarps and buckets. boil river water and let it cool is also a solution.
any intruders? no problem! buddy ( the dog) can and will bark loud. also, i dont provide warning shots.
so basicly we listen to our crank radio, take the boat out every 9 nine days to make sure it runs smooth, and when we eventually run out of food/water/supplys/ect.
we will ride back to town, try to loot abonded homes, try to find old friends, all this and try surving as long as possible.
