Before i begin my zombie plan, i must admit, it is in it's early stages of developement so any "constructive" critisism is welcomed.

Basically, i believe that if a zombie epidemic were to happen, the zombies would be more similar to those of 28 days later or possibly quarentine than any other zombie films (I'm a firm believer that a body shot WILL kill).

Upon hearing the news i intend on heading home asap, make sure the families cool and strap on my motorbike leathers, head to toe. These would stop be from being bitten in an attack and to stop blood from reaching my eyes i could simply pull down the visor. In the UK unfortunately we dont have unlimited stockpiles of guns so we must improvise. Knife at the hip for close encounters and an improvised spear from my hockey stick. It's made of carbon fibre and if i can saw the end off and create a jagged point it should act as a good short stabbing spear, the fact that its very light helps too.

My plan completely depends on where in the country the zombies are. In most cases, i would guess that the attack would stem from London, because thats where most shit goes down right? I worked out that a zombie running at 8 mph would reach my location in roughly 10-12 hours. This would give me time to either evac and head for the isle of white (i live on the south coast btw, which is also the most densely populated area of the UK) Or, preferably drive after contacting my friends to the local castle.

After dropping by the gunshop of my hometown and the gun club at a 10min drive away,i would head to a place known as Arundal Castle. Google it. It's a monster, Huge walls, a gatehouse and several keeps. The original motte and bailey would provide enough shelter as it is! Whats more this place is jam packed full of the most hardcore, lethal medieval weapons a man could want. bows, crossbows and Full suits of armour. Get a few mounted knights together and they should do some decent damage to a horde.

So thats my shelter and protections sorted. Now for food, Well because its a castle and owns much land (the Lord which owns it also owns many miles of forest and nearbye countryside), i assume there is a large amount of game out there, either deer or pheasants which we can eat, also there is a wildlife reserve just down the road which is always brimming with ducks and geese which would be nice. Also in the surrounding area there is a chicken farm. I am guessing that the infected should starve after about 6-8 weeks. This food should more than suphice.

Light a beacon from the keep 4 or 5 weeks in, and we should catch a few mroe survivors at our door.

If the shit hits the fan though, i intend on going out in style, much like the lord of the rings, i will blow a horn from the last halls of the keep and charge out preferably full armed but atleast with an awesome antique sword which sould easily decapitate a zombie or two. Atleast i can be sure that way that i took a few down with me.
