B&Q Isle of Wight HoldoutSubmitted by phamous on Sun, 07/18/2010 - 03:37 |
Seeing that I'm on a tiny Island of the southern coast of England called the "Isle of Wight", there isn't going to be many places for me to hide because of the open fields and lack of buildings, therefore I'm going to have to be continuously be on the move unless I hold up in a secure location, I have been thinking of my locale appliance store.
Appliance Store
There is an appliance store on the island called "B&Q".
- Pros
-
- Massive building
- Able to manoeuvre certain items to create blockades.
- Tools and equipment to build barricades e.g. Fence panels, Wire mess, forklifts, lorries etc.
- Lots of makeshift of weapons nail-guns, chainsaws, garden tools (hoe, axe, rake?, etc) and of course a cricket bat.
- electricity, water and food is available (food being a fully stock green house and vending machines)
- Cons
-
- Depend on time, if morning-late afternoon I would have to eliminate around about a few hundred zombies, but if its night time-early morning there will be no one there making it easier for me to get in and set up
- A few entrances (will be able to block up) zombies might be able to climb the fence around the green house
Tell me what you think....

The Isle of Wight's a good idea. If zombism hits during summer time, you might have too many tourists to be able to farm sustainably. If it's not during summer time, you can expect there to be lots of people rushing to the Island anyways. For example: it's one of the staging areas for my plan.
But, a store like B&Q would be a good place to defend and get supplies, I plan on going to Focus for example.
