When I was deployed to Iraq we had Christians, a Jew, a Muslim, and people that didnt believe in anything. However when in a group you dont go and disgrace what might be someones religion. No one burned bibles, qurans, or tanakhs, also we didnt talk crap about each others religions or disrespect anyones religion. Its no different than race, no one said crap about whites, blacks, hispanics, orientals, or native americans, there were no racial slurs or anything like that.
And in the army we had all these different religions and races fighting as one because we could control our opinions about such things, and when it came down to it those opinions didnt matter because we faced a larger threat and to even think about our pety little opinions about religion and race was silly.
So you go ahead and burn that bible or whatever you do to piss off someone of a relgion or race, I wont be surprised when that someone blows your head off because of it, its the zombie apocalypse, their familes could be missing, dead, or in danger so go ahead and throw on another stressor of you disgracing what they believe in.
Your talking about the zombie apocalypse, no law enforcement to help you out, and I am sure there are plenty of people out there that have much better training than yourself and much better weaponry then yourself.
While I respect people and their other religions, I don't particularly like it when it's effectively forced upon me. For example, one of my teachers wrote in my leavers book something along the lines of 'may God protect and guide you always'. I think god is a nob, but I have the decency to not say anything like that in front of most christians. The only exception to this is my closest friends who don't care what I say cuz they kinda get why I hate god so much.
