Then I was like all, wow camera guy, stop fucking shaking.
But, after a while it was no big thang.
The aerial shots over Santa monica were awesome.
I liked the way it wasn't the usual "Aliens come in ships, blow up landmarks, get out of ships, humans magically find weakness-end" type of thing. Every single time there was a silver lining, there was another fucking whole sky of grey clouds.
I found some bits a bit retarded, like "Oh, look over there, an M1 Abrams, one of the best main battle tanks ever built. Oh shit, the aliens went straight through it's first generation Chobbham armour, they are tough. But, their anti armour weapons will be no match for our bus."
Then, hoping we'd forgotten how easily the aliens took out a main battle tank, the heroes got in a little apc, which was somehow indestructible.
But, apart from that, it was epic.
One of those films you actually feel awesome about seeing.
You kind of have to expect little things in movies to happen that makes no sense, or is completely impossible. Some movies wouldn't be as epicly awesome if things happened the way they really should. They'd also be a LOT shorter.
