get a thread going on people that have started to prepare and post pictures of the items to prove it? after a while when they accumulate a lot they are considered for award for being prepared?

A preparedness award is a cool idea.

well make sure to keep garbage posts out of it, it should be a thread where you post what you got, not what your going to get and no derailments, serious thread. But with this site I know both of the above will happen so perhaps a rules before you post on the first post? that and if you post derailments or bs not related to actual stuff that you physically have then a mod will delete them.

I think it will be a quiet thread anyway, with only a few posts.

But I do think a award should be given out after you a certain amount of stuff, that or something along those lines, best prepared survivor of the quarter or just given out after you show so much.

Just thinking about it, I would have to go through my green footlocker and 2 duffel bags of old military uniforms/gear to see what I still have, that would be a task.

The stuff shouldnt have to be cool stuff, if the weapon that you got is a baseball bat or a axe or air rifle then post it, shouldnt matter just showing off what you got.

If I posted, it would only be improvised weapons, camping stuff and some dehydrated food.

I dont think it would matter, its just a thread on what you have currently. To show your preparedness in some way.

Also I think it should be a badge that you can win, I dont know how one would calculate on how one would get the badge, but I do think there should be a badge associated with it. I mean there is one for the wiki so why not one for preparedness?

Also I would like to see what any one has, doesnt matter how much or what it is, improvised weapons, camping stuff, doesnt matter, people shouldnt hate on others because they dont have as much, should be some respect. But I would like to see what you have.
