Personally i'd go it alone. Or With 1 Or 2 People i could trust..i wouldnt hold up in one place..thats silly..Travel from one end of the country too the other...Staying in open areas for 1-2 days at a time looking for other survivors, Not too join me but so i could mark down they're position on my map and mabey establish a link between different Places.... pretty sure that would help lead too the Rebuilding of mankind...
Screw ammo And Guns..What have i got too worry about baseball Bat And 11-inch knife's all i got...and its all i need :D
will get food and Water while travelling bottles and Tins in the back of my moms Swift :D if i find guns and ammo? then whoop all supplys go in the car till i need them...but the odds of that happening in this country? kinda low..i'll take a small and simple 9mm handgun over and Bolt action Rifle :L

Interesting how you chose not to use one of the 3 basic needs (shelter) in your survival plan. What a twist. You might have a pretty good shot. Who would be the trustworthy few you'd take with you? I'm sure your mom is one of them since you said you'll be using her "Swift" (is that an automobile?).
Thnx Guys For Feedback :D, was thinking seriously random places for sleep rooftops/ house attics depending on weather maby even treetops if i can tie my hammock well etc....Stealth when needed... but i'm not against driveing dangerously if you know what i mean.... i'd be happy too meet another surviver and share what i have...but if its aggresive..that'll be me praying i can get my hands on a firearm..
As long as the zombies are slow, shambling ones, you should be fine! I've always liked the idea of just running through a big open space, since the zombies are too spread out and can't catch you.
Now... If they are FAST zombies, you might be out of luck.
Also, without any base to speak of, how will you ever sleep/go to the bathroom/hit it up with the ladies?

Well, I like your ideas.
Stocking and fortifying isn't for everybody.
It's good that you're carrying at least a small firearm. Because remember, not only will you encounter zombies, but you might be visited by a living person who wants your stuff.
Defend yourself if necessary.
Staying in open areas...good idea. Now, are you planning on stealth or just keeping mobile?
