In the event of a zombie apocalypse one thing is for certain. When it happens its not going to spread as quickly as they make it look in the movies. Sure if the whole zombie infection starts two counties over, your gonna be short on time, but if it starts two states over then you've plenty of time to prepare.
During a zombie apocalypse first things first, you MUST find a means of transportation, nothing too slow, nothing too fast, nothing too samll, nothing too big, GO FOR SOMETHING MEDIUM SIZED!!! For example: An SUV, tahoe, hummer, etc.
After a means of transportation is available, you must acquire the following items:
1. Any kind of weapons: Guns, chainsaws, axes, branch cutters, WHATEVER is available.
2. Food: A small amount of , if you're planning on finding more later OR a large amount so that you may hold up in a building.
3. Medical supplies: Any cuts, scrapes, bruises, gashes, broken bones, etc. Need to be treated IMMEDIATELY in times of crisis such as a zombie apocalypse. You average pharmacy would have most of these materials and would not be a bad place to hold up in.
4. A place to hold up in: No matter what you MUST find the most fortified and available space of which you can rest and calm down during the zombie apocalypse. During a zombie apocalypse I think it's be most wise to have a place such as this to also store weapons, food, and other supplies so as not to have to carry them around everywhere you go.
5. People you can trust(Optional): During a zombie apocalypse you need people who are reliable, trustworthy, and competent. These people include family, classmates, friends, and basically people that you see on a daily basis. These people can be a valuable asset to your survival as long as they have a good head on their shoulders. Having people with different talents is good too. Welders, mechanics, gardeners, engineers, electricians, automotive technicians, and other people with tools of the trade are essential.
With all of this in mind survival should be easy for somebody living in the undead wasteland. In time the zombie threat SHOULD eventually subside and you should not have any trouble as long as you have more than three of the items listed. So GOOD LUCk my fellow survivors!
