Walmart Back Up

punishercjl's picture

Kildragon6's Walmart plan is a great plan considering I helped develop it with him but like all plans I believe there should be a plan B! There is a gun store in PA called Target Masters that has hundreds of guns ranging from revolvers and semiautomatic pistols to fully automatic submachine guns and assault rifles, as well as pallets full of ammo for all the guns there! The building itself is practically a concrete Bunker with only a few entrances to blockade!

I live in western NE. It is a small town and not close to any large centers of population so it is one of the last places zombies would reach in a zombie apocolypse. However, it is large enough to have a two story, 2 entrance including the docking bay place thing, 1 window that a zombie could reach, Walmart. It has a huge outdoor department because it is NE and it is very outdoorsy there, stocked with knives tents back packs and non-perishable food.

Walmart, gimme your griefs

Keys are required but lock the front doors but all that has to happen is cut the power and the doors become like regular doors capable of being opened from the inside, but no so easily from the outside. To keep zombies off of the front door a car should be parked (rolled by hand if have to) in front of each glass front door. Curtains should be hung in side the doors (not just the outside doors but the inside second set as well, just in case) to keep them from having any reason to want to claw and bang on the doors, as well as keep the door from being opened with a car in the way.

DAMN THIS TOOK WAY TOO LONG /AWSOME ZOMBIE PLAN/GUIDE

First things first, you have to know your enemy. Zombies come in two flavors: fast and slow. Fast are definitely cool, but you'll need more than a baseball bat and a pair of running sneakers to survive that zombie attack. Slow zombies - well why the heck would anyone die from a slow zombie? If you can't get away from a slow zombie, you earned dismemberment.

My Zombie Plan#1

oK this would be my plan if so say there was a zombie warning on the tv or radio and i was in my house at the time.

(1)I would shit bricks
(2)Grab my survival kit that I just made just for this very reason.
(3)Barricade my house, bords over all windows and doors.
(4)Wate at my house for about a week or untill I see a dent in my supplies
(5)Highjack or hotwire a car,Go to my freinds house to see if he is alive,if so bring him,if not and he is a zombie go into his room take his glock and blow his head off.

I will live on.

Step two: Head to walmart about 3 miles away while keeping my rifle in my right hand and left hand on the wheel.
Step three: Meet friends there (who will have the booze =) )
Step four: Fortify the entrances weld the metal ones first and then put stuff around it.
Step five: Gather ALL weapons and explosives put the explosives at the door and keep weapons and ammo with me.

Our Band of Brothers, as I am going to refer to it, consists of a group of co-workers at the TV station I work at. The general consensus is that in the event of a full blown out break, every one knows that the first priority is to gather. To do this we have to communicate effectively. While almost all cell phone traffic will be clogged with voice calls, it is my understanding that The SMS systems are seperate, So text messaging may be an option for communication before the cell phone grids go down entirely.
