Well, me and my friend thought about this thoroughly the other day. I live in an area by a large harbor/bay area and I figured why not try and live on the water? Since it's quite probable that zombies cannot swim or operate watercraft, it would be the best bet for survival. No hassles like trying to build a barricade or anything like that. All you need is a good sized boat stockpiled with supplies. It's almost too easy! I'll just hotwire a houseboat at a nearby marina then stuff it with food and water and all that shit and then take it out a mere mile or so off shore.

I've been reviewing a few of the 'plans' on here on whilst they do have some elements of success, most are reactionary to the situation and inevitably doomed to failure as they rely on being in a certain place at a certain time when the Zombie Apocalypse rises and the plan kicking in without a flaw.
To this extent I thought it worthy that we all actually plan for the event and take steps to avoid becoming part of the problem and I hope that you will benefit from a few of the points outlined below.

While it's very important to know how to take out your enemy, there's more to surviving a zombie apocalypse than just shooting Zeds in the head. Surviving a zombie outbreak is really not so different from surviving a BEM invasion, a robot uprising, or a takeover of our major cities by talking gorillas.
