Unfortunately a lot of plans such as flying to a Scottish castle, building a fortress or moving to the top of a tepui (http://www.terebess.hu/kert/roraima.jpg), may be a touch impractical. I've had to create a back up plan where we have very little time to prepare. Now, I live in a town of 15,000 people, an hour east is a million people. The hypothetical scenario is as such: The city has been infected, it will starts spreading towards the town and it looks like it wont stop spreading anytime soon.

This plans starts off at my home in Nacogdoches, Texas. As soon as i see or hear word that a Zombie outbreak happens i'm straight to work. I go get the guns from the Gun safe.

So you wake up one day in your suburban neighborhood that's close to the city, but not too close, and there's a zombie invasion.
